Studio Kampung Ayu is an independent creative studio founded by filmmaker and illustrator Jonathan Hagard.

Bridging traditional hand-drawn techniques with new media, we create original works inspired by the street rhythms of Jakarta and Tokyo, crafted from our base in Kyoto.

We focus on illustration, animation and immersive experiences, while providing art direction for film, interactive, and spatial projects.
